Name the board

All the talk of consortiums made me think that in times past we had consortiums of a sort at the top of the club.

And mostly, fans wouldn't have recognised them in the street.

Happier days but how many can you name?

  • Probably only five being honest.
  • 6 I think. Martin, Peter, Richard, Steve, Bob and Wendy. Probably wrong on those.

Not Steve but the others are correct
  • The guy far left and the tall guy standing at the back are probably the hardest to get
  • I didn't realise Wayne Couzens was ever on the board.

    They kept that quiet.
  • Greg Bone first one on the left

    As always, @shirty5 is correct

Ever thought of starting a website/twitter account of Charlton stats and facts?
  • Getting that early Harry Potter money. Clever 👌🏻
  • Anyone else think David Sumners looked like Bobby Moore ?

The only one there I had never heard of was Gideon Franklin?
I was in a hotel and I saw Gideon's bible back in the day but I thought Queen of the South was the only team that got a mention 🤔

Yes, five for me. Wendy, Varney, Murray, Simons, Whitehand
  • Indeed while it wasn't a formal consortium that owned us back in the 90s, I think we really benefitted from having a diverse board, rather than the club being run by one individual.
  • I see Jackie, Bobby, Mr. Heston, and Rodney.
  • My old next door neighbour, Greg Bone first on the left.

Not that diverse, every man has turned up wearing the exact same tie!  :p

....and my old neighbour third from right!
