According to the OS we've agreed a fee with Stoke to sell Fortune

I hope Fortune stays.

We face the real possibility of losing Souly (if he stays!) and Magic for quite a few weeks for the African Nations Cup.

Should that happen there are not many better reserves to have on hand than Jon Fortune.

Bordeaux seem confident that they are going to sign Diawara. If we lose Fortune and Souly then we only have McCarthy, Semeda and Bougharra which means we'll need to sign someone else as cover

A fee has been agreed but Fortune is undecided about the move, think he'd prefer a loan rather than somrthing permanent.

seems a bit ironic that fortune is potentially leaving when the one guy that he played his best football alongside of is returning to the valley (albeit as a manager and in a pre season friendly)
