Yeah, very much a relief that we are celebrating all the great work she does. Big three cheers for Tracey - the sort of person that makes Charlton the club it aspires to be!
Tracey is truly exceptional. I saw her while waiting for my PSA test and asked her if it would be possible to get a shirt signed as my son is running the marathon and holding a golf day raising funds forGreat Ormand Street GOSH who are treating his son. She said yes and to e mail her which I did and she replied straight away telling me what to do. I sent her the shirt and a few days later there was a knock on the door and it was Tracy herself returning the shirt fully signed with a certificate of authenticity. What a woman!. I hope the club appreciates her as much as the fans CAFC are lucky to have her.
When I was in ICU in March 2020 with Covid our dear old friend Addickted called her and arranged a phone call for me from Keith Peacock…….luckily I had my phone on and happened to be conscious……I can remember Keith called but can’t for the life of me remember what we talked about. Brings a tear to my eye, just to think that three lovely people got together to bring a moment of happiness to me at what was the lowest point of my life. To think that there are people out there who have not the slightest understanding of what is at the heart and soul of the club……not just football but a genuine passion and love which I first ignited one chilly afternoon at The Valley in March 1958, the flame will go to my grave with me…….some people won’t quite get it and never will……but a lot of you will know exactly what I mean. UP THE ADDICKS! 🫠
Amazing stuff. Thank you Tracey for everything you have done, are doing now and will do in the future. A personal touch, empathy and care goes a long way these days and is what our family club is all about.
