Maybe they'll get to have a go on the horses next time. .
I was on the top deck, front seat of a bus on Shooters Hill once when about a hundred horses of the King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery came from the opposite direction. There were gun carriages, solo riders, horses with no riders (like photo). They weren't hanging about either. What a sight! I was so mesmerised I didn't think to photograph it. Mind you it was over in a moment.
Came out of Bond Street Tube about 9am once on the way to work & a similar sight was right in front of me, tremendous watching them ride past, not the usual rush hour traffic in Oxford Street !!! In fact I worked there for 10 years & previously for about 7 years & only ever saw them that once.
A place close to my heart, my late grandfather was based there.
I’m semi involved in a small refurbishment project st the garrison church across the road, which can be seen in the background of some shots in the video. If your ever passing, stop and take a look at some fascinating history, and some bullet and shell holes still in the walls of the pillars
It's all about bonding. Living in Melb Au I support Carlton (I just dropped the h). They won a premiership with very good players. Other teams had superstars. But team bonding of that side enabled them to win. The coach actually stated the team virtually managed themselves given there bonding and desire to succeed. Applies to soccer. There many instances that a champion team beats a team of Champions. Currently Chelsea are a good example of the later
Having looked at the film some of the army guys if not all, look a lot fitter than most of our squad.
As for bonding you are having a laugh. In one photo Holdens looking at his phone while two players are standing on drums and passing a plank of wood to one another.

Well worth having a look around if you see the gates open.

Proof is in the pudding come 5pm Saturday.
I want any manager to be a success with us, but Holden is the first since Bowyer that I believe in.
If he had a couple of years in charge, he could get us to succeed in adversity, like Lennie imo.
