Last week, I scored three points for correctly predicting that Newcastle would win 2-1 at Brentford. When it was 1-0 to Brentford at half-time, I would admit I was feeling nervous. The prediction came as a result of the intense training I have been giving one of my dogs. I write all the fixtures on scraps of paper and ask the dog to retrieve one. He chose the Brentford v Newcastle game. He then had to pick the scores from a number of tennis balls with numbers written on them. He retrieved the '1' ball for Brentford and dropped it at my feet. He then picked up the '0' ball for Newcastle and dropped it a couple of yards away, deciding to choose the '2' ball instead. I assumed he meant to tell me the score would be 1-2, but when it was 1-0 to Brentford at half-time, I was beginning to think that I had misread his prediction, knowing he is never wrong. When it came to my second and third predictions, he, unfortunately, decided to have a nap, so I had to make my own guesses. Sure enough, the Brentford score was 1-2, but my two predictions were wrong. His 100% record remains. For this week, he has chosen the Ipswich v Charlton game. I don't usually like to give tips to you all, but I can, with some confidence, tell you that Charlton winning 7-0 at Ipswich may seem unlikely, but my dog is never wrong. Indeed,
