The actor, writer, director and archivist has died at the ripe old age of 90. His career spanned seven decades, but he is probably still best known as Rita Tushingham's gay friend in A Taste of Honey - a groundbreaking role at the time. RIP Murray.

    Looked at his filmography. He was in some of the seminal films of the 60's but I will always remember him in Barry Lindon (1975), such a natural English character actor.
