Thirty-seven weeks ago, we all had high hopes for the 2022-23 CL Prediction League. Whether you have had a successful season or a disappointing one, there's always the summer rebuild so that you can face the 2023-24 competition with new vigour. For some, it's crunch week. Maybe, your personal challenge is to stay in the Premier League, avoid relegation to the National League, do better than Charlton in League One or come higher than someone else. Of course, at the top, there are three possible winners of this year's Prediction League, but
@GoOnYouHaddocks is well-placed to be lifting the trophy on Monday - or, maybe, sooner. For the final week, there's a reduced number of games to consider. Apologies in advance for the fact that games are scattered across the weekend up to Monday - you'll have to blame the Football League for that one. For those that like Saturday kick-offs, there are a couple of Guest Fixtures taking place on Saturday afternoon. Finally, a rule dating back to the 1890s decrees that if you don't predict any games for the last week of the Prediction League, you do not score any points. To avoid any tactical predictions, if any of the top three wishes to inbox me their predictions, I will gladly post the predictions on your behalf when the other two are either posted or inboxed to me.
If you missed last week's results and League tables, you can find them
here.

I would like to point out that we run a professional club here at GOYH Athletic, and apart from the floodlight match-fixing scandal in the 90s (which ironically involved Malaysians Eng Hwa Lim and Che Kew Ong) have played within the rules and the spirit of the competition.
Our integrity was questioned last week by a team owner with obvious delusions of grandeur, but this was assumed to be a tongue-in-cheek joke and dismissed as such. After recent events our team of lawyers are now revising the previous allegation with a fresh pespective and may take the matter further.
For the record, we shall be playing Saturday morning as we have done almost every week of the season, and as always, without checking other games first.
Good luck to all involved 🙂.
Huddersfield Town v Reading 2-1
Millwall v Blackburn Rovers 0-1
Thanks for running this all season!
