I will be wandering over later to see the lads in action against the Angels. I am not sure how many of the U21s have gone to Spain with the first team, so could be a very young team.
Disappointing performance. Totally outplayed by a decent Tonbridge team, who I think will have a good season. We won nothing in the air, were carved open too easily and created little. Special mention to the trialist keeper who kept the score from be being a bigger embarrassment. Missing the better players though, who are with the first team in Spain.
Game was pointless, maybe see where a few of the youngsters are at (ones who are not going to be good enough to get into the main squad), could be used to gauge where the rest might be worth going on loan etc. I could see Santos back at Angels
I was going to go but once i realised the squad were in Spain and likely to be not even the best of our youngsters i didn't see the point personally, shame as i live T wells so would have been easy enough just knew we would lose and not really much excitement to go along.

Not really pointless... Just there to help the kids gain some match fitness and experience playing against Senior opposition.

Interesting that of all the U21s who featured against Dartford, Roddy is the only one who didn't go to Spain.
Is that his surname?
Scoop giving the goal to Viggers
