That is part of the Royal Box , just a bit further back in that section , it was the other side from where we were sat and they had better padded seats !ForeverAddickted said:

This may have already been asked, but a) is it usual for the players to go on holiday together at the end of a season.and b) I presume the club are paying for it - in which case is this a bit more evidence that this ownership aren't averse to putting money up if it's justified?0

Had a chat with Friedman and his son after the game somehow.
To summarise:
- His son appears to be the one who is most involved.
- The owners (as is increasingly evident from Wembley photos etc) clearly have a direct dialogue with Jones.
- They appear convinced we will stay up, founded in their confidence in NJ
- Bought into the wider club / CAFC culture, feeling of sleeping giant / growth potential, linked to development and population growth etc in SE London (easier said than done that)

And only a few stops on DLR and main line to our doorstep.2 -
The amount of ‘brown belt’ type land around Charlton alone means *when* it gets developed, there will be thousands of new residents within 5-10 minute walk from The Valley.
