A lot of people on here were absolutely over the moon with Ladapo. He has been nothing short of horrendous! If only Chuks could stay fit he is 10 times the player Ladapo is!
We needed a replacement for Chuks though which is the whole issue.

Ladapo may be a good player (we haven't seen it yet).
But he wasn't what we needed and that falls down to another recruitment failure.

We've all said it. Scott hasn't got a clue. The imbalance and quality of the squad is shocking
  • How can they have tried for collins not got him without a backup option to go for and still let fraser go 🤦🏻‍♂️

some of the decisions are shocking

this is really going to be a struggle CBT was our only shining light and at least scared teams

    now we have nothing !

Thank goodness he arrived with his winning mentality; I dread to think where we would be otherwise.  Out of the cups to lower league opposition and 6th bottom of a pony L1.  Have yet to see him holding his hands up and admitting he has been a complete failure despite him saying he would.
  • Please sack him and bring someone else in advance for the summer window. Promotion candidates and now fighting relegation is as sackable as you can get.

Fraser hasn't shown anything this season to suggest he's missed.

He wanted to leave. If he was here, he'd be giving 50% at best.

Or let the manager pick his own targets?
  • Scott is a dud, aling with the signings of the likes Fiorini & Tedic, and should get the f*** out of our club! Made from the same clone as MA!

Get back to the old fashioned model of managers signing players. Scott is clearly a grade A dud- time for him to go surely?!

It can’t just be the player recruitment, Leyton Orient are 11 points ahead of us, Stevenage 21!!

I’m not having for a second their players/squad are better, there is a real toxic, pathetic, loser mentality within this club, a cancer for want of a better term.

This has been growing since around 2020, we’ve had owners change, a tonne of managers, players, staff everything.  I’m out to ideas I can’t see when it changes.

I do wonder at what point the men with the money look at Methven and Scott and think, who are these two absolute clowns.  In the interests of protecting/salvaging their investment, and us seeing any sort of success, I would say both need to go
  • Scott has said what the problem is and he is right, the unfortunate thing for him is he has so far completely failed to change the losing mentality.

What model are the top 6 using? I’d be surprised if many have managers leading recruitment and fully in control of the decisions.

Pompey have a Sporting Director definitely as do Bolton. It's definitely not an outlier to have one. It's more about is Scott actually good at it.

Still worrying about relegation with 3 games to go should do the trick.
Relegation will see some of these clowns out the door.

Well quite but the massive issue here is fitness. Chuks could easily play in the championship based on ability the problem is he can only do a few games before breaking down. Unfair comparison based on the very small sample size.

No. But Saw Nathan Jones leaving the ground

I would hope Scott is shown the door even if we stay up this season. Someone this high up in the club cannot survive with the amount of failures down to them.

Anyone seen the championship level players he keeps harping on about that we've signed? 🤔

Scott has clearly no idea, the players he has bought in by and large are simply not good enough.

    He should now be sacked.

Does this bloke go to the games? Or is there a community meeting planned anytime soon?

This bloke has a lot to answer for, I want to hear how he explains what he does for Charlton.

Neither Methven or Elliott stayed in their seats until 90 mins today. Good money for not a lot of work!

He'll give a semi competent interview and have half the fanbse tugging themselves off over it.

No argument from me but we needed a replacement. We got a load of defensive players which was needed but we lost our best attacking outlet (plus Chem) and didn’t replace.

Elliott probably left after the Pink Singers giving that he seemingly is only here to wring as much out of the newly formed industry of diversity and inclusion that many are making a hefty pound note from these days.

Of course it is essential to ensure a welcoming environment for all and goes without saying there is no place for homophobia , racism etc but stuff like the choir yesterday is just patronising nonsense and completely out of kilter with a 3rd division football club in a relegation battle. Who is this stuff aimed at?

'Diverse' locals are not staying away because the valley is an unwelcoming cauldron of bigotry and hatred....it's because we're shit and it's more appealing to armchair support arsenal or Liverpool rather than pay through the nose to see us get turned over in the 3rd division by Northampton and Burton.

Not sure what Elliott brings other than nonsense like that choir and no doubt more future initiatives that will get rolled out to.justify his wage whilst having little to no tangible effect on progressing the club.

People of all walks of life will flock to the valley in the 2020s when we climb up the leagues. Not because of banal stuff like gay choirs.

I don't know why you have to keep slagging off fans all the time at end of posts, based on what a few people might have said about someone coming across in an interview. Even they do think someone may have come across well, doesn't mean they think are necessarily doing a good job or free from criticism.

At about 2.20 he was walking into the east stand with a group of security. Assume he's just visiting different areas of the ground to meet people. Seemed in a good mood, laughing and joking with whoever he was with.
If anyone sees him again, I suggest laying one on him - he's THE biggest danger to this club at the moment. No strategy, no idea, no plan, no hope. We've signed an ABSOLUTE load of shite and that's putting it mildly. I pray that NJ is able to sort this out.
I mean we technically haven’t have we. We have signed proven players at this level. We just have no confidence. And are on a terrible run. Yes some of the loans haven’t been great but Ladapo is just out of form. The perms are good business and we are about to appoint a manager most of of us thought was out of reach. Stupid comment
