Mine too and probably with the same close runners in Kins & Killer. That goal against Hull was deservedly goal of the season. Paddy picking up in the right back position, giving a pass and then haring over to the left wing. Eventually got it back, skinned their guy and went past me too (we used to stand on that corner between the short West Stand & the Covered End and dad used to put me up on the railings with the other kids). Pinpoint cross, with his weak foot & beautiful volley.Big William said:Probably still my favourite ever player, by a short head from Kinsella, Killer and a few others. Although he was a classic right winger, his most famous assist, for Killers goal of the season, was with his left foot. Accurate to the millimeter as usual. When I had to make my Confirmation and choose a name, I asked for Colin. Was told there wasn’t a saint called Colin, so that wasn’t allowed. They obviously never went to The Valley 😉. I chose Patrick, not for my Irish heritage, but because Colin was always known as Paddy ☘️8 -
Fantastic player, what memories of seeing him streaking down the wing.TelMc32 said:

I had similar "looks" from the Vicar when I had my eldest christened. He thought "Killer"and "Flash" were wholly inappropriate middle names for my daughter!6 -
Naming your daughter after me is fair enough.soapy_jones said:

His playing days were before my time but whenever I’ve been around him he’s always seemed such a gentleman.Hope the new era of the club start treating our loyal ex players better. Colin should be Number One in that regard9

Loved watching ‘paddy’ tearing down the wings, brilliant player. Him, Killer and Flash my all time Charlton favourites.4

Lovely bloke. Loved sitting in the stands eating my lunch watching him on the sit-on lawn mower driving up and down the valley pitch with a fag hanging out his mouth.3
