Taylor was a dead ball specialist we were told
    Him too
  • Last year go out in last 8 on our shield at Old Trafford. This year, limp out in first round to Welsh noone's a league below. Pub Team. Same shit, different season.
  • Brandon Hanlan scores for Wycombe.
  • Yep. Season over
  • 670 away fans here, 2,600 total attendance I think was announced over the PA

  • Maybe it’s a good thing the match is not on Charlton tv!

It's not the size of the possession, it's what you do with it.

Taylor talking about scoring a hattrick against Mansfield seen by only 1200 fans. Moaning that early rounds aren't really thought of much.

Saying of course managers will prioritise the league. Promotion to Championship is worth £7.5m and to Premier League £200m.
Son says he answers why he didnt play once games restarted after Lockdown.

    Easy to answer......

" I'm a big c**t & didnt want to honour my contract with my employer as I feared getting injured......although I got injured 6 months previously playing for my country & my employer stood by me then...."

Love to ask him how his big money move planned out. "Tell me Lyle, just how many mins of Premier League action did you actually get to play ??"

How many weeks of your life have you cleared 20k?
    Not the point.

    He broke his contract.

    Club should have sued him.
I hate Taylor as much as the next guy but calm down, Golfie.

You know full well he didn’t break his contract.
    But he did?

  • Let's get the misery out of us at the beginning of the season and hope it will improve
  • Hopefully ends the debate about McGrandles on the transfer rumours thread, awful player
  • 7 minutes added on

He was still under contract for the first free games back after covid and refused to play. If clubs don’t pay players wages swift action is taken by the EFL, should it not work the other way round?
  • Charlton hit the post. Kirk's cross seem to touch someone and hits the woodwork. Seven mins added on.

  • Watching some of you tantruming about a second string side losing a cup match we evidently don’t care about is genuinely more entertaining than a win could possibly be
Also gives a chance for players returning from injury/ getting match fit to get some minutes.

U21 games do the same thing if used properly.

Sounds like quite different experiences from one season to the next rather than the same?
  • Our squad is not strong enough currently.   We're better off out of the Competition whilst we concentrate on the league.

    Lots more attention needed sadly.

    In defence and attack.

Yet if we won then it's wonderful to give our squad and youth players some momentum.
  • Terrible Taylor more like. Surely his last game as a professional footballer. He kicked a corner out of play and he's supposed to be good at corners. That's it. Find a new career lad
