  • Leeds 1-2 Southampton FT
  • Birmingham the only game left playing but their fate is already determined.
  • Huddersfield have gone from being a couple of not given penalties from the Premier League 2 years ago to being relegated to L1.
  • Playoffs are a bit boring too, all recent PL/usual yoyo teams.
  • That’s it. Birmingham 1-0 Norwich FT

    Leicester & Ipswich promoted.

    Rotherham, Huddersfield, Birmingham relegated.

Leeds v Norwich, Southampton v West Brom in the playoffs.
  • Wonder what Brum budget will be for their rebuild? Got an owner with deep pockets.
  • Birmingham fans on the pitch looking for a fight?
  • Pleased Brum have gone after the Rooney farce

  • So sad to see Brum relegated ...
Like a turd that finally flushed.
  • Glad Wednesday have stayed up. It's got to the point with their fans where I'd rather they were always in a different division to us so I don't have to put up with them. Though there's always the chance that Huddersfield fan who used to come on here to complain about Chris Powell will come back..
  • Great to see Wednesday stay up, if they can keep Rohl and build on the squad they could be play-off candidates next season.
  • Ipswich back to back promotions. Lost 10 games in 2 seasons, scored 193 goals and got 194 points.

    Tough times at Portman Road.........
And how many teams scored 4 against them in that time?

Birmingham going down must go down as one of the biggest own goals from a new owner in history? Within 12 months of buying them they managed to sack 2 managers, paid out over £5m in compensation and have unveiled plans for a new 55k seater stadium, which I'm sure would look great in League 1!
They’ve got history in this regard. Didn’t they sack Gary Rowett when well placed and replace him with Gianfranco Zola, who the previous owner had presumably spotted in his football annual ?

They were 6th earlier this season when they gave Eustace the boot.
  • At least he was pointing downwards, got that right.

  • Extraordinary sequence of results down at the bottom of the table . Plymouth weren't playing a team on the beach either, they were playing Hull who still could have got in the playoffs.
  • You’d have got very long odds on the 6 teams in 17th to 22nd positions all winning. As well as Plymouth, a great result for Blackburn at Leicester

Jamie Vardy and the other Leicester players have been having a party...

I imagine their fans would be happy that Leicester losing to Blackburn relegated Birmingham  :)
  • All 3 promoted teams from L1 last season stay up.
  • edited May 4
So they're grouped into it happening in consecutive seasons the last 4 times.

Get your bets on Portsmouth, Derby....
  • The lack of quality on show in this play off semi is so infuriating to watch. What a season to have underperformed as badly as we did.
  • No one is going to beat that feat at the top of that table.
    We will, in 26/27  ;)
