He looked exactly like what you'd expect - a hugely talented youngster giving his all, but still learning and a bit error prone. He'll be all the better for the great experience he's getting at St J.

Just read on the St Johnstone website that Zach was taken off last weekend with a hamstring issue.

Due to have a scan yesterday & awaiting result.

Sadly, he may have played his last game for the Scottish club & would miss the Cup match v Celtic at Hampden Park on Sunday.

Loan ended and expected back in full training next week. Won’t be eligible for play offs I think but glad he’ll be fit for a full pre season

Is that because Zach was playing "abroad"

Interesting to see if he comes in to the squad next season or goes off for another loan. He's had some wonderful reviews while up north.

I don’t think Taylor can either, I think Varney was talking rubbish to be honest. Loans are window to window specifically to avoid things like this

Taylor's loan period finished with the last game. Mitchell's deal still has one game to go (even though he has been recalled because of injury).

Taylor's loan period finished with the last game. Mitchell's deal still has one game to go (even though he has been recalled because of injury).

Whether it did or not the registration window usually closes in March and doesn’t open again until June and you can only be registered to one club at a time

Not quite, they aren’t relegated yet but avoided relegation yesterday. They’re still bottom but 3 points off being in the relegation play off

I think he got wires crossed a bit - I imagine the headlines might have said they’ve avoided relegation because they’d be confirmed relegated had they lost yesterday.
