Zach Mitchell - Sept 2026 out for the rest of the season (p35)

He looked exactly like what you'd expect - a hugely talented youngster giving his all, but still learning and a bit error prone. He'll be all the better for the great experience he's getting at St J.7

You think he’ll be sold or take Small’s place?RonnieMoore said:

Hmm…
Zach’s been subbed off in the 29th minute v Dundee United. If it’s an injury, hopefully not serious. 🤞🏼3 -
They’ve said it’s a forced change so yeah must be an injury.lordromford said:Hmm…

Just read on the St Johnstone website that Zach was taken off last weekend with a hamstring issue.
Due to have a scan yesterday & awaiting result.
Sadly, he may have played his last game for the Scottish club & would miss the Cup match v Celtic at Hampden Park on Sunday.0 -
Going to miss rest of the season according to there website2
-
Can’t see confirmation on their OS, but it was reported below he had hamstring scan, which doesn’t sound positive.

Gutting for him to miss a big game at Hampden.

No Zak in the Perth squad today so assuming he is injured having gone off early last week.
Saints losing 0 - 2 just before HT.0 -

Loan ended and expected back in full training next week. Won’t be eligible for play offs I think but glad he’ll be fit for a full pre season

Would be great to see him at The Valley supporting our lads on Thursday.4 -
Thought it was nice to see their manager was upset about Zach not being available, shows he was valued4
-
So Taylor can be involved, but Mitchell cant after his loan spell...?
Is that because Zach was playing "abroad"0 -
Interesting to see if he comes in to the squad next season or goes off for another loan. He's had some wonderful reviews while up north.fenaddick said:Loan ended and expected back in full training next week. Won’t be eligible for play offs I think but glad he’ll be fit for a full pre season

I don’t think Taylor can either, I think Varney was talking rubbish to be honest. Loans are window to window specifically to avoid things like thisForeverAddickted said:So Taylor can be involved, but Mitchell cant after his loan spell...?

Taylor's loan period finished with the last game. Mitchell's deal still has one game to go (even though he has been recalled because of injury).fenaddick said:

Whether it did or not the registration window usually closes in March and doesn’t open again until June and you can only be registered to one club at a timeCrusty54 said:

St Johnstone stayed up. Zach contributed to this.5

How have they stayed up? They are 3 points adrift with 2 games to go.Crusty54 said:St Johnstone stayed up. Zach contributed to this.0 -
I think he got wires crossed a bit - I imagine the headlines might have said they’ve avoided relegation because they’d be confirmed relegated had they lost yesterday.superclive98 said:
