I am fortunate enough not to suffer from dyslexia, but I do have some words that I type wrongly on a regular basis and then have to backspace to correct. One such word is prediction, which I often type as
predicition and then have to backspace to remove the offending
i. Given that I have to type this word twice or more every week, I wonder whether I should have a word with
@paulbaconsarnie and see if I can organise a swap with Beat The Bookie, although I might find that I type
Bokkie by mistake rather than Bookie. Who knows? I suppose it's not as bad as the most annoying and embarrassing typo that I regularly make. When I quickly type emails, I usually hope to sign myself as Phil. However, my fingers often slip one letter to the left for the last two letters of my name, thus replacing the
il of Phil with
uk. To my knowledge, I've hit the send button too quickly on just two occasions, which has caused the recipient to wonder why I have signed myself off with a less-than-flattering name. I tell you this not because I want to be known by my mistyped name, but in case you ever inbox me. And why? Because someone inboxed me last week, and my finger was a nanosecond away from sending a reply signed by the less-than-flattering name. Anyway, down to the important business as we hit the seventh week of the Prediction League season (heck, I struggled then to type
Prediction correctly). There are some juicy games to make your selections from this week with one easy one. We all know that by 5 o'clock on Saturday, everyone will be signing
Michael Appleton's red and white army as someone shows the new boss what a tunnel jump entails. As usual, pick your favoured three. Good luck from Ph
ukil.
