DOBSON: 7.5 His usual passionate display. Worked tirelessly all game and was everywhere. If only the others can match his work rate and fight.
T.CAMPBELL: 4 Looked completely lost first half and didn't seem to try to get into the game.
LEABURN: 4 Repeat after me... He is not a winger!
MAY: 6 Cant fault his effort and had zero service first half. Had a cracking shot second half that was well saved
CBT: 4 He just looked disinterested and lazy. Got well marked and the narrow pitch didn't help. But he is a professional footballer. If things aren't going well you work harder to make things right.
L.WATSON: 7 Steadied the ship by doing the simple things right. Much better than Taylor on this showing. Made a couple of awful passes though which could have led to more.
ANEKE: 7 What beast. Scared them to death but should have scored on a couple of occasions, especially the header. I feel that sometimes he gets fouls unfairly given against him simply for being so big and strongTENIĆ: 7 Looked sharp and dangerous. Would like to see him play from the off.

THOMAS: 5.5 - defends pretty well but poor in possession. He seemed to have the ball more than any other Charlton player and Shrewsbury were happy for him to do so
T.TAYLOR: 4.5 - not very progressive on the ball - too much backward and sideways passing
DOBSON: 6.5 - put in a decent shift
T.CAMPBELL: 4 - outmuscled and unable to affect the game
LEABURN: 5 - couldn't trouble the opposition. Needs to play centrally
MAY: 6 - worked hard to try and make things happen
CBT: 5 - barely in the game. Kept moving inside in the second half when Thomas was in possession
L.WATSON: 7 - a couple of misplaced passes, one of which could have proved costly, but his passing and movement enabled us to get on the front foot in the second half.
