Jimmy Trotter on the left, and possibly Max Bygraves next to him?
I think you are correct re Max Bygraves

It’s the blokes either side of Roy Castle that I have no idea about
don't think it's Max B .. BUT have no better idea
  • 2nd left - Lance Percival maybe ?

Found this being sold on eBay. Looks like the same programme. Note that there’s no Dave King listed, so unless he was a late addition, I guess it might not be him?

  • Thanks Lord Romford
  • Third from the right is definitely Andrew Ray

  • Third from the left is absolutely definitely Dave King so perhaps he was a late replacement.
  • I think 'Dave King' could be Norman Rossington looking at @lordromford 's programme.

I agree that it definitely does look like Dave King though.

I think Anthony Newley could be standing next to Jimmy Trotter.
  • The programme on the table tells us this is a charity match between a Television All Stars XI and a Charlton Old Boys XI (and they do look old) but can anyone name them?

Jimmy Trotter on the far left

    Thanks Bob,

So we have left to right

Jimmy Trotter, ??, Dave King, ??, ??, Don Welsh, Sailor Brown, Andrew Ray, Roy Castle, ??

Should be able to work out who the Charlton player next to Dave King is.

I think it’s Harry Fowler next to Jimmy Trotter. This is Harry Fowler:

And you missed AFKA. I mean Ronnie Corbett. 😉

Don't think that is Anthony Newly but can't say for sure

@lordromford is right with Harry Fowler I think.

I don't think so - the nose is all wrong.

Norman Rossington shorter of the two on the right. I know he has a beret but hair such as it is looks similar to 'Dave KIng' in the photo.

    Nope

  • The Charlton player in the middle could be Bert Turner

Good call - he played the corrupt policeman in ‘The Long Good Friday’
“Corrupt” doesn’t help identifying a copper.

    You left out Ronnie Corbett.
  • Could the one having his leg stroked be Lonnie Donegan?

  • Funny I was thinking Lonnie Donegan, but not for him though - for Dave King.

No, that’s defo Roy Castle having his knee seen to.
  • Could the one having his leg stroked be Lonnie Donegan?

As an aside, at first glance, this picture of Lonnie Donegan looks like Frank Lampard. (The younger one)
Not sure if Frank plays the banjo though…

I've heard that Lampard's family has a musical get together every Christmas. His Uncle is usually on the fiddle.
