Having made the effort to see us away in this comp versus Crawley, have decided just a short while ago to drive up for tonight’s game later. 

Am expecting Appleton to blend experience with youth and to give the likes of Kirk and Chem Campbell match minutes after a spell of inactivity.

A good performance and more goals notched will do no harm at all. Have no idea who is in Villa’s U21 team, but don’t have much clue who is in any of the oppo League One teams either, so no change there.

Anybody else getting behind the lads tonight?

Harry Isted (knee), Tayo Edun (hamstring), Conor McGrandles (knee), Terry Taylor (ankle) and Panutche Camará (foot) are also unavailable for Tuesday's cup clash.

Hopefully another good opportunity for the kids who are standing out in the U21s, to get some more experience playing alongside the First Team in a competitive setting.

Just play the U21's with maybe Fraser who could do with getting some more match fitness

If it were my club I'd loudly and publicly declare that we would be playing our U21's and would be telling fans that we consider it an U21 tournament, take any fine that comes with that decision and expunge the game from our first team records. It's an affront to the game.

With no game this weekend I want a strong lineup.

AMB could do with a night off but with no Isted that would mean Henry Molyneux who has never particularly impressed me

Villa will likely play a 4-4-2 and the goal threat comes from midfield with Omari Kellyman being a particular jewel in the crown.  He's switched allegiance from Northern Ireland to England and looks a bit of a prospect as does Kobei Moore who plays up front.

I'm actually quite looking forward to the game but then I always am!

Can anyone explain how Villa have 2 points when it appears that they have drawn with Sutton who have 1 ?

If a game ends as a Draw it goes to a penalty shootout, win that and you get an extra point

Going to be very, very interesting to see whether Kirk plays tonight. 

If he doesn't,  then hopefully even he can take the hint that his future here at Charlton is, shall we say, somewhat limited.

Yeah I only have him in there because he's a natural left back really. Bit annoying there was a U21s game last night otherwise I wouldn't have minded seeing someone like Adigun involved so we didn't have to have Dobbo in the squad at all (not a like for like obviously as a player but it's a bit light on midfielders)
