why do we seem to always wait for the ball rather than go and meet it, far too slow all over the place, and Thomas is still not at the game, needs subbing or we are being opened up every time down the left
Dobson gets bored of no one putting a challenge in and shows everyone how to do it, then mumbles a little fcking hell to himself before signing to his agent for a Jan move.
Knew this was going to be a tough game but we just sitting back admiring them. They are miles above us all over the field. We are not helping ourselves by losing too many first and second balls.
They are just quicker to the ball, and pass more accurately. They pass to players in space and throw the ball forward rather than backwards when they get a throw-in. It seems so simple, but no matter who is managing us, we can’t seem to do it consistently.
I rate Bolton but genuinely feel they haven't had to actually play that well to hold this lead. I've seen them control games better. That's the frustrating bit, Charlton too easy to play against today.
Thomason looks very good. When Alfie plays up front on his own when the ball goes forward it usually doesn't stick unfortunately. We do look good when we get on the ball and go forward, but there have been so many wayward passes. Dobbo's passing has been poor and that's a shame because he is so important to our possession. Bolton are very smart about when to press and it pays off.
