    Our U-21 team ought to be able to win this so even with so many out injured or on international duty it will still be a massive embarrassment if we lose.

    Just been passed MPA and the floodlights are working and the scaffold tower for the tv cameras are in place.

    I don’t think we can fart around with team selection on Wednesday. If Jones is fit, Ness can replace Hector and Asiimwe can replace Edun if a second game might be a much for a player who’s just returned, with Watson moving to left back. If Jones is not fit to start, Appleton will have to bring in one of the young lads. Subject to those changes and Walker coming in for AMB, I’d play the same side as Saturday.

    I’d expect CBT and Tyreece Campbell to give Cray Valley a lot of trouble on the flanks.

    There is a risk of injury in any game but that can happen any time, including in training. The risk of playing a weakened side and losing to a regional 8th tier team is not one we can countenance.

    Where are all the calls now for resting our key players and giving the fringe squad vital minutes ?!!😉

    We should be looking to score an absolute hat full of goals and frankly embarrass the opposition. 

    There is a realistic prize of getting past Gillingham and a possible big team draw in the round after that.

    Plus £41,000 in prize money if we win on Wednesday and a larger sum if we can win in the second round. If we can get past Gillingham, we might get an interesting draw and it all helps to keep the level of interest up, especially when we’re currently stuck in mid-table. 

    I don’t think a couple of extra FA Cup games is going to be determinative of our season - if we fail to make the top 6, it will almost certainly be attributable to an underweight squad and poor recruitment.

    They then mention one particularly tenacious Charlton fan who went as far going to the Enfield game, and even took photos in an attempt to get tickets ….

This is our first ever home all ticket match and with hindsight maybe things could have been done differently although it was never going to be possible to please everyone. 

    We hope you will understand and look forward to your continued support of the club.

    Any breweries in the vicinity ?  if so dont let this mob in to run it.

    Supporters coach is just pulling into the McDonalds at Yorkshire Grey roundabout.  Been a long 36 hours since we left Larkfield, but we’re confident of getting out and taking the 4th exit for Middle Park Avenue by about lunchtime tomorrow.

    got my phase 2 one on Saturday, but still waiting for one bought later in phase 3. Will keep an eye on today's post.

    Is how I'd line up tbh, and try to get a couple of goals early so we can take off May, Jones and CBT before the end
    Think Dobson might have to play centre back .. before people go on the attack he started as a centre back at Sunderland so will know the role 
    Confirmed by Appleton that all that played on Saturday were training yesterday. No injury concerns
