  • I guess with Dobbo and McGrandles doing the work in midfield, Appleton feels that we don't need an energetic 3rd midfielder, and instead hopes Fraser can link up with the front 3.

I like Fraser - our most creative player.  Has a certain calmness about him that balances the side better IMO - although Watson is a terrific player but we have another game Tuesday night so think Appleton is rotating a bit.
would be nice for one of our "creative players" to score from a free kick for once !

Interesting statistic in the studio today Alfie is second in the goals scored in 2023 at 27, second only to Haaland who is one more...Just shows, Alfie is such a great asset for us to have him on the books

That was as of yesterday, it's technically two behind now, with Erling scoring again today.

Their new owners with Sandgaard levels of showmanship. Gross.

He'll be one ahead after his hattrick today

Same comment as always. I know the answer but why are we not playing in red against a team playing in blue?

Why aren’t we wearing our home kit? Much greater clash between our away and their home

Decent team, would prefer L Watson instead of Fraser though
We'll probably see Louis Watson come on with 30 minutes left, full of running and good energy.

It's important to finish the match with a strong running team.

And we're off. Addicks attacking that stand with the sloped roofs like we used to have at The Valley in the first half.

CBT involved early - skins the full back and his cross has just too much on it for Leaburn to reach.

Early cross from CBT is over Leaburn's head and claimed by Tomas Holy

We look very bright early. Fraser finding plenty of space in their half.

What roofs did we used to change to in the second half? I don't remember us doing that.
  • Some lovely passing on the ball so far
