Home win all day long.  Am there with family to celebrate mine and my Uncle's birthday.

Last time we did this we beat the mighty Burton 2-1.

    Alfie May scores 5.

    7-0 win.

    Red Army!

Hope it's better than last year's game. Friday night missed a Brazil world cup game to see us lose in the cold in the 84th minute to Alfie May

While it is only three points, this feels like a big moment in the season.
Anything but a win after the massively frustrating Carlisle draw, will leave a sense of another mediocre season incoming.
I hope we really have a go at them. On the front foot, as MA likes to say.
Take out our frustrations from Saturday and give Cheltenham a good hiding.
A birthday goal for the stuttering Miles.

It’ll probably be a 1-0 win for the Robins, but which ones….?

Cheltenham being without Street and Williams is big.

Teams is just over an hour. I am in meetings almost all day so will have to watch the replay when they post it on the site.

Am I right in thinking we've never beaten Cheltenham?  Let's hope we finally do tonight
  • Just put the rubbish out and it's freezing.

Fair play to all of you who are actually going.

It's a glass or 2 of red wine in front of the computer for me!

From Cheltenham's style of play and the fact they are missing 2 key players tonight, I feel they are coming here to park the bus.
And having watched our match footage, believe they can nick a goal on the counter.

Think how Carlisle played on Saturday. And that'll be Cheltenham tonight.

Can we get that early goal and then kill them off?

No win tonight and the post match thread should be prefixed with a warning sign ⚠️ and offer contact details for those in need of anger management counselling.

Season of mediocrity to continue with a scrappy 2-2,  us recovering a two goal deficit late on. Never find it easy to break struggling sides down, always concede, and not clinical enough in front of goal. Hope I'm wrong.

Charlton priced as short as 1.6 on Betfair Exchange.

The last time we were this short priced for a league fixture was 23 months ago in December 2021, beating Cambridge 2-0 with a Conor Washington brace.

Chatting with a Cheltenham Town mate.
He says Alfie can go on runs of games where he chases his form. He tries too hard and snatches at chances.

He was convinced we must have used a sports psychologist to relax this problem, resulting in his amazing form for us.

    Let's hope Alfie relaxes tonight.

Including those like L. Watson I expect.

Has surprised me... I thought the lack of subs on Saturday, was because there would be a few more changes tonight - Mbick over Kirk and Chem Campbell, says a lot

Yep FA, the ones coming through are potentially better than the ones in their way.

I’d rather have 1 less sub than name Kirk.

I hope all those expecting us to score 4 are correct.
But Cheltenham have only conceded 12 away goals in 8 games.
