  • Too many if's and buts in our back four. Hector and Maynard Brewer are a problem for us, Hector having those asleep moments and Maynard Brewer does not call or bawl his defenders. We are not far off being a very decent side but we need to sort that back four out and we need an out and out centre forward.
  • We really should be winning this but like most games we have a lot of the ball but don't create enough.

CBT unlucky to hit the post but we should be better with our deliveries....corners especially.

Dont think much of McGrandles and Fraser is very wasteful. I would have both Campbell's in the squad with one starting and L Watson in the team too.
  • Cheltenham are absolutely awful and the fact we're not coasting this says everything you need to know about our side

Granddaughter no 1 (age 8) is growing into an astute commentator and analyst of the game.

After a particularly woeful Charlton pass:

"What was that? What is wrong with these people?! They're dumbos ... and not the elephant cos he was good."

Eat your heart Neville and Caragher.
    That is adorable.
There's been plenty more of that  calibre of analysis from little 'un.

When I shew her the latest score from Vicarage Road, with Norwich 2-1 up, her response was "well, they aren't as crap as Charlton".

EDIT: And this is only her second Charlton match. The girl learns quick ...

    Carlisle can concede goals
Of course they can thats why they are in the bottom 4. But like tonight we dont put the meagre chances we do create away.
  • Go for it now lads. Take it away from them early
  • Curbs "if we get in front, feels like we'll get a couple more"

Couldn't agree with that assessment more
Perhaps he meant if we get a couple more, we’ll be in front
  • HT sub for Cheltenham

    Keena off, Hammond on

  • Teams back out. No further Addicks changes but Keena makes way for Oli Hammond for the visitors.

  • Back under way. Addicks shooting towards the Covered End this half.
  • Dobson not having the best game tonight with his close control...

  • Inviting option is to move May to the 10 role - currently out on the right - and put Campbell in the RW gig. Can see that happening at some stage this half. #cafc
  • CHeltenham free kick on the hlafway line, keeper takes, it apprently comes off Tedic for a corner.

  • Tedic heads away a Cheltenham corner
  • Tedic heads the corner away, and May ends up conceding a throw.
  • This ref is useless,...
  • Absolutely shite start. No tempo from us. Do they want to get out of this league?
  • Another let off
  • T Watson concedes a free kick about 20 yards out from the RH edge of our area.

  • S/nage 2-1
  • Wake the fuck up!!!
  • Somebody needs to tell these Cheltenham players that we're much better than them. Bloody rascals almost scored again!
  • AMB clears the free kick, it nearly goes out for a corner, CHeltenham cross it back in and the header goes over the bar.
  • Nearly a repeat of the first half with their player getting in between our defenders. Luckily this time the header just goes over.

  • Chance there for Chelts. Free-kick is whipped in, AMB tries to punch clear but misses it, Curtis Davies sends it back in from the far side and George Lloyd heads narrowly over
  • At least I’m in the warm watching tv, feel sorry for the poor souls in SE7 watching Tedic

It's not a question of wanting to get out of the league, it's whether they are good enough to do so.
  • Aaarrrggghhh!!!

Great run diwn the left from CBT, ball dinked over past the back post, Alfie plays it back into 6 yard box, Slobby Teddy pokes it over the bar.

  • 52' Big chance for Tedić  He touches May's cross over the bar.
