Actress Brigit Forsyth, best known for appearing in TV sitcoms Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads and Still Open All Hours, has died aged 83.
The actress died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, surrounded by family, her agent Mark Pemberton said.

I was only watching a dvd of ‘Whatever happened to the Likely Lads’ a few weeks back. Classic stuff. Brigit as Thelma was certainly a class act. RIP

Years ago saw her with Angela Thorne and Sylvester McCoy in Arsenic and Old Lace. It was hilarious. A fine actress.
