    My instinct was to criticise Dobson for not playing the whistle, but that is miles out literally a foot over the line. Absolutely shocking from the ref.

    The guy was away from Dobson, he would never  have got back before the guy crossed the ball...why are we blaming US for that crap decision, it was out of play ffs...😫

    Behind at the break. Had some moments in that but not playing to whistle has cost Charlton there. You can control that, can't control the referee.

    Whether you agree with the rules or not, reckon that was a hand ball and penalty n all. Whether the ref could see it or not is another matter

    Disgrace of a ref, firstly for their goal but also a clear handball. It’s utter dog shit in this league.

    I don't feel like the point is whether the ball is out or not. It's that Dobson has completely switched off.

    No one, from that photo, can tell whether it’s over the line or not.

    Agree. It's the worst place on the pitch for an official to judge that over the line, with no linesman in that segment and ref disadvantaged by the angles (even if he is a lemon).

    I think it probably was out, but anyone saying with certainty from that camera angle is crazy.

    It was very tight.

    Right now in an alternative universe, they are going spare on Charlton Life after Dobson kicked the ball upfield to a Barnsley player when the ball was clearly out and they scored from it.  If he had just left it the ref would have given the goal kick…
