Got the rona. Thought I was coming out if it, but gone down hill a bit today.

Got a nice bit of beef in the oven though, even though I can taste f / all at the moment.

    Happy New Year 🥂

Going to watch my Charlton Athletic 2022/23 highlights DVD
Although this would be my preference, I am really going to friends and family and look forward to it.

Bit of a soppy post but Happy New Year's everyone. This site is a massive escape for me and I imagine a lot of people on a day to day basis. I probably check in on it more than most sites and thoroughly enjoy posting here.

I've been posting for over 10 years now and it's by far and away the best football forum experience I've come across and there are some real characters on here, from all different backgrounds and walks of life. I've had some great advice on a few threads and fantastic conversations.

I hope the new Year is more fortunate for us in regards to Charlton and of course outside CAFC as well. I wish everyone the best tonight and whatever you're doing enjoy it.

See you all tomorrow and stay safe,

    Charlie :)

Spending it alone in a hotel in Butte, Montana halfway through a 2 day drive to go watch my daughter race in the US Championships near Salt Lake City. Will listen to the commentary tomorrow while I start day 2 of the drive!

    Happy New Year!!
  • Listening to the wind and the fireworks. Hoping not to be woken up by a crescendo of more fireworks at midnight!

Happy New Year one and all! Hoping 2024 is better for our team.

I’ll remember this NYE for meeting my 3 day old granddaughter for the first time.
Doesn’t get much better than that, so a quiet night in for me !

That’s a cracking start to the New Year. Congratulations mate

Bastards have been setting them off since about 7pm. I don't like them for the dog's sake, but the stuff around midnight, fair enough. 7pm though, WTAF?

Happy New Year everybody. I'm having a quiet night in, and am currently finding Rick Astley on BBC1 weirdly enjoyable. God I'm getting old.
Hope that everyone who's currently having a rough time healthwise has a better time in 2024, but I'm making no promises on the football front.

Out round friends but managed to get back and turn the TV on for 11.59.

Probably the best firework display I’ve seen that

Let’s hope the fireworks don’t have to pay the ULEZ charge.

I think the ULEZ charge may have paid for the fireworks 😆

Maybe it was just me but it really annoyed me when it started with ‘The Mayor of London presents’. Proper self serving nonsense, who pays for them? We do.
