    No one has said he was good for us.  I, like others have simply stated that previous clubs fans rated him and thought he was of Championship quality.  He was injured/recovering/overlooked his whole time with us then played ok in the last game which is not enough to judge him on.

    I think he is one of those players that in a team that is dominating will look like a rolls royce but goes missing in a struggling team

    Didn't realise Stockport paid £300k, rising to £1m on performance (so likely £300k) for Fiorini.

    I have the feeling that this might be a conversation that regularly pops up. I think he’ll do very well and end up playing above the standard we currently find ourselves.

    I saw him playfor the U21 team. If had been one of ours hewould have been released at the end of the season. He made no positive impact even at that level.

    No Inniss was actually worse for us than Penney. Penney played a couple games and was shocking then never saw our team again, clearly there was something up with Penney as there is no way he would have been a professional footballer if that was a fair representation of his ability.

    Where as Innis was brought in to be our leader and organiser of the defence, and was played time after time where he would make mistakes that cost us goals and games. Then when he wasn't making mistakes he was making stupid decisions to get suspended like Wimbledon or pointlessly going in to the back of someone with a minute to go and pick up a second yellow.

    None of this is a personal attack on him as i know he is apparently a nice bloke and he has "friends" on here, but as a player he is one of the worst CB's we have had in recent memory.

    in the end he kind of finished his own, but that was just one of many. I think i remember one where he got sent off and I though fair enough nothing he can do there but the majority was just nonsense.

    Shame Jack Rodwell has disappeared.
    He was the sort of uninterested Man City loan signing  perfect for the January window.

    After 15 appearances (4 league starts), 0 goals, and 0 assists after his permanent move to Stockport he has now joined Dundee United on loan.

    Actually joined yesterday before the derby game against Dundee. Was an unused sub as Dundee beat United for the first time in 7 years (8 games).

    Not defending anyone (Scott), but most would think that any fit youngster on the books of City, can do a job at a L1 club, or at least give a bette account for themselves than our 2 did.

    To be fair he's a local lad to City, rather than someone they poached as a kid.

    Seems like a lot of their youngsters are just punts. Tedic, Matt Smith & Fiorini were all not good enough for us.

    From being on loan from Manchester City to being loaned out by Stockport County, quite the fall in the space of a few months!

    He was an Appleton signing. He had already played at two clubs for him and at the time we signed him, Blackpool fans rated it as a coup that he’d dropped back into League One after being a standout for them in the Championship.

    Clearly it turns out he’s not the same player post injury.
