What is it with us and dead ball stuff, another free kick in a good area...straight at the keeper...FFS
Who was, and when was, the last time we had a set piece specialist?!

Anyone still moaning about new midfielders still?

anderson needs to be taken away from the firing line.
Totally agree, he needs to go out on loan. He's talented but he doesn't impact games.

That being said, that handball is just a thing that happens, he's making a fullblooded challenge to stop the cross and I can't really fault him for that specifically. But yes, more broadly, he isn't ready yet.

Saved by AMB there after Hector fails to defend, again.
I want to see it again but on first look it looks like Hector is bodying his man and that Jones is caught ballwatching from the knock down.
I don't know what he was doing but it wasn't defending.

HT 1-1, deserved lead from CBT, but gifted them a goal with a very fortunate pen, anyway second half next kicking towards our fans, and please no more goal music other than VFR

How can we have 62% possession yet only two shots to their 11

It’s so infuriating, I know a lot can be pinned on the defence - but it’s a team wide issue why this keeps happening.

Our midfield gets so easily overrun when teams get their tails up against us, and our defence just buckles under the wave.

Can’t only be me who saw that, as Apples was walking off he unfolded a sheet of A2 paper from under his hat and got out a magic marker and wrote “You’re all Mugs” and held it up in front of the away fans for fully 2-seconds.
Someone must’ve got a photo right?
    I can’t believe it.

Just can't handle a bit of pressure. Thought we'd done alright otherwise.

Our ST whoever it is, barely gets any service and is expected to work miracles.

our play is all aimed at coming through CBT and somewhat whoever plays RW through long balls over the top and in behind- it’s dire!

Anderson looks awful, jones struggling against their BIG centre forward.

Because 50% of that possession is AMB to hector to jones to dobbo to watson back to hector back to jones etc etc

Absolutely no presence up front so possession is mainly sideways and back.

We cannot handle their big 12, who is a unit. First sign of sustained pressure from them and we crumble so fast.

Game will drag on at 1-1 until they go for the win last 10 and we lose 2-1.

That looked like a blatant handball from Hector
Did it? Looked like it came at him so fast he didn’t have time to move his arms.
He was trying to catch it so he could throw it in his own net

Good first half besides the fucking moronic handball.
  • When Dobson is taking your corners and free kicks, it's a sign of desperation. Surely L Watson should be taking them, but maybe Appleton doesn't want to risk him getting another assist.
