He shouldn't be too far off with a run in the Championship and keeps his performance up, he is slightly unlucky the qualifiers are happening earlier this year. League 1 was probably too low a level to get a call up and hasn't played enough Championship games.

We're shit but have been slightly improving in recent games and there's a reasonable amount of competition out there

No-one to replace him in the team tonight and it showed.

Was hoping to be impressed by JRC given his Championship experience but can’t say I was.

Wasn’t helped by us playing a very inexperienced defence though, and it’s far too early to write him off.

I thought he was very calm and in control against Stevenage, seemed to want too much time on the ball yesterday and got caught. If you're being generous you could say that the usual advanced out ball down the right wasn't there with a defender at RWB and Olaofe wasn't exactly showing for the ball and making as many wide runs down the left as he should have. Just an off day for all the senior players

He wouldn’t have touched the ball much last night - more of the hoof it to Ahadme stuff that he had at the start of last season

There's no excuse for the corners though.

From a selfish pov, it's better for us at the moment that he isn't called up, and instead has a rest.

Been called up due to Cullen being suspended. Hopefully he’ll get some game time.

Nothing to play for now so may as well play some different players tbh. I hope he gets plenty of game time.

Five mins off the bench where he does something impressive will do

He could spend 95 mins on the pitch and still do nothing impressive.

Cant tell if that's a weird dig at Conor or not.

Callum obviously meant that for us it would be better if Conor doesn't play too many minutes, but does something impressive in that short time.

He doesn't score enough goals for Golfie!

Exactly why Claude Makelele is widely considered to be one of the worst midfielders of all time...  ;)

Don't think Eire have anything to play for except pride.

    It hangs on tomorrow night.
    We beat Armenia
Hungary lose away to Portugal (hopefully by a few goals)

We don't get hammered at home to Portugal

Then we need to beat Hungary away.
It's unrealistic as we're fecking shite but there's some hope, especially if we can put a few past Armenia (we'll probably end up losing though)

Should be ok to play Saturday once he's picked the splinters out of his arse.
