Captain Sensible said that when the Damned went on there, they soundchecked and retired to the pub with Annie, who matched them drink for drink...later, when the cameras rolled, she was her normal charming professional self, the band were paralytic and ended up wrecking their equipment and themselves. When they cut back to Annie, her comment was "This studio is haunted by The Who".
