That’s what you call winning your battles. Brilliant performance from the moment he came on and won his first

All the subs looked incredibly up for it ans none more so than Gillesphey...Great to see him come on and stake a claim for his place after no seconds and then score

Immense character, to be out of the team and come in to put a shift like that speaks volumes.

Delighted he signed a contract here, we are bloody spoilt having an option like Macca with the other left sided defenders we have.

From the likes of Terrell, Hector, Lavelle, etc, to Lloydy, Bell and Macca, levels.

Seriously can see a few of our current squad in the Prem, they have taken to the championship no bother.

I've seen several mentions of the song about Gillesphey's head, can someone tell us the tune and the words?

You have to say that with players like Gillesphey, Tanto and Leaburn on the bench I doubt too many teams have better subs than us in this league.
The difference between a couple of seasons ago to how we are today is enormous.

I think quite a lot of clubs will have more expensive benches, probably more talented in terms of how they are with the ball... BUT none of them will have a bench so hungry, hard working and powerful and that is what you want from a modern substitute.

Macca was outstanding from January onwards and his goals and defensive work went up so many levels.  Losing the shirt was harsh and against what Nathan normally does when players are playing to a high standard in the team.
Competition is great for the fans and we pick our favourites and Bell is a Championship player but so is our goal scoring Wembley Hero.

With Josh turning his ankle, Bell goes to LWB and Macca slots in next to Lloyd with the chasen Ramsay coming back in for Burke who shouldn't play too many games in a row with his recent injury record.

Great to have choices which wasn't the case the last time we made a good start in the Championship !
