From another web page or your computer?

Another web page: Open web page, right click on image and select "copy image location", click on the blue square icon above where you type your message and paste the URL in the text box and click ok.

From your PC: Click on the "Browse" button below where you enter your text and navigate to the image, highlight it and click "Open".

As Sco says, if it's as an attachment it has to be less than a certain size, otherwise, save it as a jpeg.
