Jscore: 8 I thought last weekend was better but this was still a very good performance against the top team
ISTED 6.5 - Some good reaction saves but his lack of height and lack of ability under the high ball make me nervous. I know he's had injury problems this season, but I wish we'd kept Jojo.
R.E.G.: 6.5 He seems to look at his worst when playing at CB. Always hurried and anxious in possession. Put him in midfield or RWB and he looks calm and composed. Wish he'd done better with his chance.
JONES: 7.5 Great in the air but he had some real wobbly moments in possession. Playing in the middle of a back three suits him as he can drop deeper and mop up.
THOMAS: 7 - Normal chaotic game from Thomas but thought he did a lot more good than bad. Covers the left side well when the LWB pushes forward and that's a huge asset.
T.WATSON: 7.5 - another good game from him. Get him playing higher up the pitch and he looks better. Lovely ball in for May's chance.
DOBBO: 6 - Fine, but nowhere near his best. He looks tired, slow, and anxious on the ball compared to earlier this season.
BAKINSON: 5.5 - Put himself about. Not much came off. Gives the ball away too easily and doesn't win it back enough.
ANDERSON: 8 MOTM - He was everywhere and he made things happen. Again. He looks like the first Midfielder on the team sheet. He's good on the ball, he presses well, and he battles. If Kanu had been a bit quicker to react to his pull back he would have set up another goal as well. He's really come into his own in the last couple of months and credit to Jones for continuing to put him out there.
SMALL: 6 Solid if unspectacular. Looked a bit rusty. But he's a much more assured presence on the left than Edun, is a bit of a unit, and is only 19. I suspect we're going to be very happy picking up that option for next season. His biggest issue seems to be rust.
MAY: 5 hassled and harried but there's a case to be made that he should be our fourth choice striker at the moment.
KANU: 7.5 - He's stronger, he looks quicker, his movement and position are good, his first touch has definitely improved, and he's our best pressing forward. Always available. Two 19 year olds are now vital to the way we play.
ANEKE: 5.5 - Well said after the match that he seemed more interested in trying to bully their CBs than get on the ball. Not his game, but his shield still set up REG's chance.
Referee: 4 - some truly baffling decisions toward the end

T.WATSON: 6 - Tries hard but IMHO is a very limited footballer. Not quick, can’t cross, doesn’t seem to want the ball. Need better for next season. DOBBO: 6 - One Hollywood pass late in second half aside, I thought Dobbo had a poor game today. BAKINSON: 6 - Gets involved and about the pitch. Adds some physicality but anonymous for most of the game. ANDERSON: 9 - Gave Karoy a standing ovation. Was a leader out there and didn’t stop running (with some decent play, too). Between him and Jones for MOTM. SMALL: 7.5 - A little ‘raw’ but feel we’ve got a player here with a pretty high ceiling. MAY: 6 - Seems to have lost his way in the past few games. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him back on the bench at Derby. KANU: 7 - Really like Kanu. Him and Karoy look like leaders out there with their effort and desire which is testament to our brilliant academy. Looking forward to seeing his progress next season. ANEKE: 6 - Didn’t really make the impact he typically does but love seeing him come on and barge their defenders. Just hope Jones isn’t tempted to ever start him. Referee: 3 - There were many events that I could list, but booking Barkinson for kicking the ball away and then letting a Pompey player get away with doing the exact same (except punching it away) just a few minutes later was ridiculous. Lack of consistency and a lot of decisions were generous for Pompey.
