    Mike Flanagan
Correct. A bit of a cheeky one as he did make well over this amount of appearances in total, but from 83/84 alone he made 102.

So Dobbo, could be up to number 43 by the end of the season. At his current rate Chuks will crack the top 50 by about 2032.

    Balmer - 263, Wagstaff - 141, Webster - 143, Whyte - 106
I did not think Whyte was on the list.
  • Whyte was another one that benefited from 2 spells at the club. The few appearances in the first spell meant he was able to get past the 100 mark in his bigger second period at the club.

  • I assume that out of Chuks Aneke's 101 apps, about 75 were from the bench ?

Anyone know the true start and sub apps ?

Very close. 24 starts, 77 sub appearances.

Can't imagine any others in the 100+ club have more sub appearances than starts.

Kim Grant was the first name I thought of as he was always the player with the most sub appearances next to his name when I was younger. However he made 90 starts and 65 sub appearances. When I was looking through though one name did come up.

Kevin Lisbie - 68 starts, 108 substitue appearances. There might be more, but he is definitely in the club with Chuks. I do agree though it's unlikely there will be many that will join them in having more sub appearances than starts.

Quiz of the week time  :)

As it's an international break I thought this weeks quiz should be related. So, can you match the Charlton player - current or former to the country, international caps, and international goals below. Not all of the caps and goals were collected whilst playing for Charlton. In some instances none of them were. Most are relatively simple I would assume, but I've tried to throw in a couple of wild cards to make it trickier.

    Algeria - 70 caps, 4 goals:
    Angola - 6 caps:
Antigua and Barbuda: 36 caps, 5 goals:
    Australia - 14 caps:
    Bulgaria - 88 caps, 1 goal:
    Cameroon - 49 caps:
Central African Republic - 14 caps:
China - 108 caps, 15 goals: Zheng Zhi
    Denmark - 55 caps, 20 goals:
    DR Congo - 1 cap:
England - 79 caps, 10 goals: John Barnes
    Finland - 106 caps, 22 goals:
FR Yugoslavia - 2 caps: Sasa Ilic
    France - 44 caps:
    Ghana - 7 caps, 1 goal:
    Guadeloupe - 3 caps, 1 goal:
    Guinea-Bissau - 4 caps, 1 goal: Panutche Camara
    Iceland - 90 caps, 8 goals:
    Iran - 44 caps, 17 goals:
Israel - 96 caps, 1 goal: Tal Ben Haim
