Maybe not a name that jumps out to everyone, but felt this deserved a thread
An extraordinary man and a brave and inspirational man
Paul contracted polio at 6 years old and spent over 70 years of his life in an iron lung, he went to school, became a lawyer and lived his best life whilst the iron lung was breathing for him, he had to master a process called frog breathing as well.
He could have given up at any stage in his fight, but he battled against the odds(when he was first admitted to hospital as a kid the doctors told his parents he had no chance of survival)
A true inspiration
R.I.P Paul

RIP
The strength the man had must be an inspiration to us all.
No more pain and suffering, sleep well.
Died of a Covid related infection
Quite simply - how grateful am I for the life I have - I cannot even comprehend what he went through
