Without totally derailing the £5 donut thread, i was was quite amazed and shocked when i went to see England v Brazil, they were selling single donuts, for £5.50 each, is that the going rate these days, or i have i leapt into a time machine, and jumped forward 50 years?
And no i didn't try one, how much do people normally pay for their donuts?

Dont go in to a Crosstown donut shop... I went in to get a little treat for a few of us.

I noticed a shot outside a 'cafe' during the Cheltenham races, 6 donuts for £6, I though that was a rip off when you can get 5 donuts for a £1/£1.20ish in your 'local supermarket', BUT the Crosstown prices and the £5 (golden) donut are just taking the mick, and never mind the superior quality, icing, sugar free etc. ingredient arguments0
