Wonder if he played at The Valley?

Don’t make them like him anymore.

From Bristol Rovers to European Cup Winner.

Another British Bulldog bites the dust.

    RIP  Larry.

The 2015 documentary 'I Believe in Miracles' - telling the story of football Forest's rise to English champions and European champions in 1979 and 1980 - showed Larry Lloyd to be an excellent raconteur, as well as a tough and dominant centre-half. RIP

    Oh really……what a giant of a player.
A truly magnificent leader and marshall of any defence, a beast of a player…..I mean that in the nicest sense of the word.
If Big Larry was on your case you know you were in trouble.
    RIP…..Larry…..RIP.

I always remember Larry playing for Coventry at The Valley. We had little Johnny Harrison playing for us that day, and, I swear this is true, he pushed the ball past Lloyd at one point and ran between his legs!!!!! Larry and the other players just fell about laughing. I think Harrison tried it again later but ran into one of Larry's thighs. RIP Larry.

Kenny Burns and Larry Lloyd were being interviewed.
Burns said he always called me Kenneth, only my mother called me that.
Larry said he always liked you, he just used to call me Big Head.
    RIP.

My first game , who knows had we lost I could have become a forest fan and had a couple of European Cups to celebrate and sung The mist rollling in at the right pace , no chance I was made for our freak club

    RIP big Larry
