    Visually always reminded me of the fictional Francis  Urquhart from the TV adaptation of House of Cards.

    Was from a political age when most politicians could be trusted to tell you the truth and not have a higher personal agenda. That’s from both sides of the political divide too. Agree or disagree with their views but I always felt they were at least genuine. I wonder what the likes of Frank Field or Lord Hesseltine or Ken Clarke make of what we currently see.
    Mate. I was literally about to say exactly the same as this and use exactly the same names. So true. 
  • Frank's special talent was taking people to task for "shithousery" on both sides of the house. (Obviously more prevalent on one side).
