    🤢
  • I always use two tea bags for a cuppa.  What about you lot?
  • Twinings English Breakfast.
Dash of milk, no sugar.  Lovely.
  • My preference is Yorkshire tea - leaf tea even better.

Possibly a more acquired taste, but I also enjoy 'tea india's' chai tea and ginger chai tea,

All of the above served black.
  • A nice cup of Earl Gray, no milk, no sugar!

    You what?
    Eh?
Hang on….you must mean two tea bags in a large teapot, you’re not fooling me with your madness.
  • Around and about there have been cropping up these ‘bubble tea‘ places.
    What’s that all about?
Doesn’t sound to me like a hot refreshing golden cuppa.
    Fizzy fecking tea!
  • Where prices have increased we’ve moved onto supermarket own brand the last couple of years and must be honest, don’t really notice much difference

Just one of those things from abroad that's in fashion at the moment, like the American stuff before it etc.

Apparently very high mark up - cheap ingredients (cheap ones just use powder and then the pearls), easy to make so probably minimum wage staff, high price for what it is.

Also wouldn't be surpised if a few are the next 'American Candy' type places and there's a suspiciously high profit being made....
  • Yorkshire tea, milk no sugar

prefer a pot on the weekend when sitting down with a proper breakfast but nothing wrong with teabag in a mug
  • Just having a cuppa at the moment, i think we should reopen this thread every day!

    Wow, just the one!
  • I missed International Tea Day yesterday, but today will be similar to yesterday. 2 cups of English Breakfast when I wake up. 3 or 4 Ceylon in the morning. 1 or 2 Kenyan in the afternoon. Then, Assam or Ceylon in the evening.

Around 9 cups of tea a day?

Yes, occasionally ten and very occasionally eleven, but it hinges on whether I drink red wine in the evening.
