For me it depends on what the original badge was. Can’t see the one being replace much older than sixties. Hate it when clubs mess around with tradition.

I agree but am happy to make an exception in Stoke's case. The badge is utterly bland. If I was a Potter I'd be glad of a change.

I agree to some extent, although I feel sorry for the guys who have it tattooed!

The current badge has only been in use since 2001 - a pot kiln has featured in pretty much every crest prior to that.

Fulham are the worst going from a traditional crest with character to the bland primary school design they have now.
We’re fortunate, we undoubtedly have the best badge in the land (currently). One of the greatest crimes committed by those monstrous green away kits we had 20/25 years ago was mounting the badge on a shield.
If they have a kiln on the badge, it would be great if it was designed in the Jasperware style of Wedgewood where the kiln was made to look like it stands out in 3-D.
@Henry Irving I've posted something on this thread, which seemed more appropriate. I thought I had something better tbh. Perhaps something for me to work on.

I thought they had to stop using the old one! Something to do with the council, but I don't know details. Agree the current one is an aberration.
Such a shame Leeds didn't go through with their crest rebrand 🤣

"for a long time."
Their website shows the 9 different crests they've had! The one the current one replaced looks a bit fussy to me.
