  • U21?

Button, Taylor, BWP, Cook must all have been over U21?

Can still play in those games regardless of age. It’s basically a reserve team game in all but name.
  • Must have been 4 overs or something as Brighton had Calderon,Sparrow and LuaLua.
  • Only name I don’t remember from our squad is James Ashton.

Assume he was someone we signed for our u21s, similar to Pope, Bover and Smith.
  • Button - reading
    Fox - QPR
    Cousins - Cambridge
    Bover - FC Andorrra

Those days more senior pros played U21 games to keep themselves fit. Calderon in the Brighton team was a senior pro for example.

Both managers have gone on to manage at a decent level, Williams managed Swansea last season. You could make a decent combined senior team out of those sides

    Pope

    Calderon Taylor Dunk Fox

    March Cousins Lualua Harriot

    BWP Smith

Button and Pigott don't even make the 11

Looks like he was briefly on loan from Chelsea.
  • The number ten has certainly done well for himself after moving  :)
  • Lewis Dunk. England cap.

Despite pretending this was "doing the rounds on social media" rather than crediting the museum's twitter account where it was posted 🤬🤬🤬 an interesting thread
