    An absolute legend of baseball. Remembered very fondly by Mets fans despite his two years with us coming when he was nearing retirement and long past his best. Other than those two years he was a one-club man, moving to San Francisco from New York when the Giants moved. He was pretty much the player in their club's entire history, kind of like the role of Sam Bartram for Charlton.
