Just read on the BBC website that he has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease ☹️ 

Was one of my fave cricketers back in the day and shame he got so badly injured while playing for England.

    Awful - when his knee quite simply shattered, spectators heard it go, and for those not Cricket minded, the wicket is a long way from the spectators - very serious injury 

    He was mega quick on his best days 

    Horrible diagnosis
