Box to Box CM, will free up Berry to play in the 10. A midfield 3 of Coventry, Docherty and Berry should be very decent - nice blend of differing attributes too. Reckon we may need one more CM/CAM to provide competition alongside Taylor and Anderson.
Really positive signing, assembling a decent squad, you have to hand it to NJ he is really pushing the boat out and being supported by paying good wages to get these players in!

excellent signing, really pleased with this. The signings this week have made up for the loss of Alfie. Can’t wait for the season to start now. A keeper, a CH and another midfielder and I’d be very happy.
Again the owners have put their hands in their pocket and backed the manager . I don’t think any other league 1 club has been as proactive this summer with the quality of signings.
I always get excited pre season. Who doesn't? Some proper signings this week and my optimism is only tempered by the last few years of supporting our somewhat beleaguered club. Up the addicks. Roll on August
The proof of the cake is in the eating. Fair play to the board for backing Jones and for his choices. Apart from those that have left, I'm happy to see how this lot get on from August. There will be plenty of competitors for the top 6 so we need a good start. Now that Jones has the nucleas of his squad, I hope we could get maybe 1 or 2 cherries on the cake!

Probably means no Dobson, as it's pretty much a like for like, with Docherty potentially offering more.
If Coventry can kick on this season, combined with Berry and Docherty, that's a pretty decent midfield on paper.
