    Hylton with his first.

Nice work on the right. Watson drills the cross, no one can get on it. Ball gets put back in from the left and Hylton turns it home.
  • Berry strike saved, rebounds to Hylton who falls over as he hits it, trickles into the net
  • Edun down injured
  • Henry on for Edun
  • Henry on for Edun in last 5 minutes
  • Guessing Anderson is on holiday/got time off?
  • Edun off Henry on
  • “Berry good in possession” says Terry Smith as the ball gets nicked off his toes
So not berry good after all then 😆

He's back training - Guess his levels arent quite at the same as the others

    Played for Jamaica I think
  • Is this the same Hylton who used to play for Luton?

Only just back from international duty.
  • 2149 attendance.

     Yes
  • FT 1-6
  • Full time 6-1
  • That’s your lot 6-1 Charlton, the reds are going up…

  • Campbell made a good impression. 2 goals for him puts down a nice marker that he can be an attacking option this season.
  • Looks like the players are going to do the crossbar challenge.

Was out playing for Jamaica in Copa America....
  • Were Dartford any better / worse than Welling ?  Would this match be seen as a suitable replacement ?
  • Switched on at 1500 to watch the darford match without realising it was. 1400 kick off. It was already 4-1.  Bollocks.  Couple of our new signings look decent on the evidence of half an hour albeit against a team of trialists

I am not sure if Alex Mitchell has a lot of pace, but I think it is fair to describe him as 'no nonsense'. He looks like a competitor.
The overall vibe was we were decidedly not simply going through the motions, including the way NJ was approaching the game, but wanting to go about our business.
    Satisfactory.
He’ll become the new Steve Thompson. A rock solid, no nonsense centre half. Just what we need … ‘Ave it
