Who is the oldest outfield and goalkeeper (permanent, not loan) signings we’ve made?
John Barnes and Begovic if/when it happens spring to my mind from my time watching.
I have probably missed some obvious older signings in my time and know that players used to continue playing longer prior to me watching but just wondering if anyone knows the correct answers.

    Would imagine Christian Dailly has got to be up there - think he was 36 when we signed him.

    Chris Powell was nearly 38 when he joined us in 2007 for his third spell.

    Jim McDonagh would have been around 35-36 when we signed him.

    Those were the ages at times of transfer to us.  As a matter of interest Johnny Jackson was getting on a bit when he called it a day (35)

    Hasselbaink must have been mid-30s when we signed him.

    How old was Terry Naylor when we signed him from Millwall he ran like a pensioner, but hacked down like a teenager.

    He was 34, which would have been smaller than his waist size
