Grateful for any adive. My wife got an e-mail from Stub Hub which seems to be a genuine ticketing company. The e-mail was titled: Don’t Miss Out - Buy Your Tickets Again For WGCI Big Jam!
It referred to a concert in the US in December which again looks like a genuine concert. It contained the para below:
We noticed that payment for your order for WGCI Big Jam unfortunately did not go through. Don’t miss out on your tickets before they go! If you would like to reattempt to make the purchase, please click here .... The link looks like a genuine link to stub hub.
What doesn't make sense to me is if somebody was trying to buy tickets on her card, why would they use her e-mail? I can't work out what it is about. She says she hasn't used stub hub before.
If it makes sense to anybody, grateful for advice,

If you did click it run a virus update immediately would be my advice.
All I do is tag it as spam hoping the filtering improves over time.
It seems easy for spammers to get hold of email addresses and then spam you with vaguely relevant stuff.
As long as you don't click the risk is low.
does it look like a genuine email address from Stub Hub?
