The club has changed hands multiple times since Roland first sold us, so it can’t be that huge an obstacle to a potential sale. It’s not a great situation to be in however.
On the contrary, by setting the ridiculous price Douchbag is asking it was and still is a huge obstacle……and unless he shows willing, will remain so in his lifetime. My take is that nothing will be resolved in his lifetime and thereafter his son will “most likely” take over, who knows how he will view things is anyone’s guess. 🧐

I wanted him to understand the trials and tribulations of our exile years, and why the Valley is so important to all Charlton supporters. I really believe that we have finally got good people in charge of our club and hope they stay for a long time to come.

As I have been saying for months.. these are good guys, but want to invest the right way. From the bottom up, and that’s what they are doing, and maybe we are starting to finally see the club turnaround.. get behind them and the team, could be an exciting few years coming up!!

need to buy back the Valley and the training ground. before that we are just tenants and could easily become homeless once again.

Not really. It's really not hard to think that if/when we get promoted then at least some of the conglomerate will look at selling on and making a bit of profit that way. But that's a long way in the future yet, if ever.

To repeat myself, the Nixon story never said that our owners were interested in selling, or had spoken to the Saudi Prince. Indeed it never mentioned our owners at all.
The story was that the Saudi Prince was interested in buying a club, with Charlton being on his radar. That might be true, but doesn't mean anything will happen if our current owners aren't interested in selling, or the price isn't right.
And at some point they WILL sell the club, or at least individual shareholders will sell up, as that's the nature of such ownership groups. Just not yet.
