2024-25 CL Prediction League Week 2 Results

Between us on Week 2, we scored 228 points in the Prediction League. Soon after Charlton's game against Leyton Orient lurched into stoppage time, 85 of those 228 points were notched as Luke Berry struck home. Indeed, 14 competitors were hardly surprised by turning the potential 0-0 draw into a 1-0 win. However, points were hard to come by this week, although @tommo, @ThreadKiller, @tangoflash, @Laddick01, @Frankie_de_Toro and @cafcwill all managed a highly creditable 5-point haul. A second consecutive score of 5 means that @cafcwill is the early-season pacemaker, with @timken, @oohaahmortimer, @LeeValliant, @Laddick01 and @charscot all starting well. A mention for Hopeful Harriet, who was celebrating the 'perfect weekend' with a win for Charlton and defeats for Millwall and Palace. As for Follower Fred, he's just hoping that @tommo can perform some magic in Week 3. Finally, more welcomes this week as 9 newbees and returners took part in Week 2.     @charente addick You picked Reading v Exeter which was not a game. You could have meant Reading v Wigan or Northampton v Exeter, so my computer program rejects it. However, as both games were home wins, I'll give you an extra point - it will be added to next week's League table. Of course, you could have claimed that you meant Northampton v Exeter, which did produce a 2-1 result and would have been worth 4 points, as no one else got that score correct!

    Ta. I meant Reading v Wigan so could not, as an honest broker, claim the 4 points.
